POLYPHONY CAMP

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to sing in Bella Voce? Attend Polyphony Camp, and find out!

For the first time in twenty years, Bella Voce will offer Polyphony Camp, an interactive and immersive choral experience. Over Presidents’ Day weekend, participants will learn the ins-and-outs of singing polyphony in sessions led by Artistic Director Andrew Lewis. The weekend-long workshop culminates in a performance where participants sing together with members of Bella Voce. No prior experience necessary!

Participants in the two-day camp will:

  • Learn all about polyphony (a composition style that weaves multiple independent melodic lines into a rich sonic tapestry), in workshops led by artistic director Andrew Lewis.

  • Sing together, conducted by Lewis and supported by Bella Voce members

  • Socialize with your fellow campers and Bella Voce members during Saturday’s lunch break. Lunch will be provided.

  • Experience the joy of choral singing.

  • Perform in a concert at Bella Voce’s home concert venue, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, and enjoy a brief reception afterwards.
